WHAT MAKES OUR STORE GREAT?

The Oceanus Diving Association (O.D.A. Scuba Diving Center) was formed with the public in mind.   Noticing there are many scuba stores throughout the world  that certify people as divers just to increase numbers with plain disregard for the divers’ inabilities and safety as a diver, we wanted to create a scuba diving education center that was different than the rest. One that is aimed at creating the most competent and safest divers the world has ever seen.  For academic materials and certifications, after careful consideration we chose to go with the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) because not only is it the only non-profit scuba diving agency in the world, but NAUI was the first in the world to hold scuba classes solely for the safety of the public.  Next, we chose to partner with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) because of their close relationship to NAUI over the years and because they are well known throughout the world for their fantastic academic materials–everybody knows PADI. . .

When it comes to first aid, no body teaches a course more better geared for scuba diving injuries than the Diver’s Alert Network (DAN). Like NAUI, DAN is a non-profit organization.  Both DAN and NAUI are partners.  For this reason all NAUI Scuba Instructors are also DAN First Aid Instructors.  For this reason we are proud to be partners with DAN and we are proud to teach a variety of DAN courses to the public.

At the ODA Scuba Diving Center student divers receive state of the art training while using the latest scuba equipment in the market.  Here they have access to the best training materials from the world’s leading training agencies as well as the best training from the world’s most experienced scuba instructors.  Apart from the fact we didn’t fall into the same trend by using a cheap Hawaiian name like Aloha. . . , Hawaiian. . . , Oahu. . . , etc. to draw customers to our store, this is what makes the ODA Scuba Diving Center the most authentic scuba diving center on Oahu.  And this is why you should choose us over others.  Because we care more about your training than your money.
